A single iris is visible to the right, and at the top, flowers and fruit are in a separate pot, including speedwell, tulips, blackberries and gooseberries. There is a small butterfly perched on the uppermost tulip, and around the stone pedestal beneath, fruit is arranged, comprising from left to right; hazelnuts, half a melon, peaches, white grapes, blackberries, black grapes and pomegranates.
