Julian Trevelyan, RA, was born in Leith Hill, Dorking and studied at Atelier Dix-Sept, Paris. He taught at Chelsea School of Art and The Royal College of Art and was a founder member of the Printmakers’ Council in London and is known for his work as an engraver. He became a confirmed Surrealist and participated in a number of Surrealist exhibitions in London.
