This is an early design for the new Coventry Cathedral which was opened in 1962. It shows a wall panel with symbols and text from the Bible. The artist was the architect himself and it is his vision of how the Cathedral would appear. Basil Spence made detailed plans and elevations but only views like this could bring them alive.
