Portrait of a standing male figure. The man wears a bonnet, a plaid, a jacket and short trousers, all in matching tartan. His legs are bare and he wears tartan socks and black shoes with buckles. There is a black strap running from his right shoulder to his left hip. A pistol hangs from his chest, and there is a sporran beneath the pistol.
