Sir Kenneth Robson (1909–1978) was educated at Cambridge and Middlesex Hospital, where he qualified in 1933. He was appointed physician to St George’s Hospital but served in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. He remained Civilian Consultant-in-Medicine to the RAF until his death. Robson’s main medical interests lay in diseases of the chest. He played an active role in the Royal College of Physicians and devoted much of his life to its welfare.
