Sir Iain Colquhoun of Luss (1887–1948), was Knight of the Thistle, 7th Baronet and 29th Laird of Luss, Lord Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire (1919–1948), Lord Rector of Glasgow University (1934–1937), and Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland (1932 & 1940–1941).
