A steel tree standing on an actual base of a riverside crane. Around the base are 16 carved plaques depicting local views and maritime items. There is also several large-scale rivets, nuts and bolts strewn around the walkway either side of the main sculpture. A giant shadow of the tree is etched into the pavement stretching out towards the mouth of the river. The text on several wall plaques and sculptures is by Chaz Brenchley.
