Georges William Thornley
1857–1935
Georges William Thornley (1857–1935) was son of Morgan Thornley, a Welsh immigrant to France, and became well known there as a lithographer and landscape painter, including for work based on his travels in Provence, Brittany, Normandy, the Pyrenees, the Alps and the Vosges.
