James Herbert Snell
1861–1935
James Herbert Snell, RBA, ROI, was an English landscape painter. Snell studied art at Heatherleys, London, Paris and Amsterdam. He was elected to the Royal Society of British Artists in 1890 where he exhibited 47 times and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in 1909 where he exhibited 118 times.
