Ian Howard
b.1952
Painter, draughtsman and teacher, born in Aberdeen. He studied at Edinburgh University and College of Art. He won a Travelling Scholarship to Italy, later winning the RSA Guthrie Award in 1978; first prize in the Scottish Open Drawing Competition in 1985; and was a Tolly Cobbold Eastern Arts National Competition prizewinner.
