Archibald Standish Hartrick
1864–1950
Illustrator, printmaker, painter and teacher, born in Bangalore, Madras, India. Hartrick studied at Edinburgh University, the Slade School of Fine Art and in Paris, notably at Académie Julian, where he met such luminaries as Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh.
