Alec Cobbe
b.1945
Painter, draughtsman, designer, restorer, teacher and collector, born in Dublin, Ireland, as Richard Alexander Charles Cobbe. He studied human anatomy at Oxford University, 1963–7, winning a prize for anatomical drawing, from 1969–72 studying painting restoration at Tate Gallery.
