Poster, London & North Eastern Railway, Scarborough by Frank Newbould, 1930. Coloured lithograph in bold forms and simple colours depicting a couple in a speedboat, named 'The Queen' splashing through the sea off Scarborough, with the town, beach and castle in the background. Based on a 1924 design, but with the addition of accompanying text reading "1930 Booklet free from Town Hall or any L.N.E.R. Agency". Printed by The Dangerfield Printing Co. Ltd., London. With illustration of a man in a red boat at sea with the town in the background. Format: quad royal. Dimensions 40 x 50 inches, 1016 x 1270mm.
