Sally married into the Walker family, from whose descendants Lancashire County Museum Service acquired the memorabilia of the Rawlinson family.

Thomas Hutton Rawlinson’s nephew, John Satterthwaite, owned a slaving vessel called 'The Sally', which was seized at St Kitts by the French navy in March 1782. Thomas Hutton Rawlinson was Sally's grandfather not her father - so it was her mother also Sarah known as Sally, for whom the ship was named.
