On the second floor of the block on the right, the cornice extends into hoods over niches which contain statues of Saint Pancras and Saint George. Other figures are on the sides of the first and second class entrances of the block on the left. There are pilasters on either side of these entrances with triangular pediments. In the spandrel of the second-class entrance are reclining river gods with a bas relief of Tower Bridge in the background and the spandrel figures of the first-class entrance are reclining figures of Aqua and Eura. There are grotesque humanoid creatures crouching on the pilasters of both entrances.
