A half-length frontal figure of Saint Catherine as a pale woman with downcast eyes. Her pale brown shoulder length hair is loosely tied back, and a light gauzy mantle is just visible around her head. She is dressed in pale green and white robes, a lilac cloak and a golden crown, and stands with her hands folded together holding a palm to signify her martyrdom. On the third finger of her left hand she wears a ring set with a jewel. She inclines her head downward to the right. A spiked wheel is just visible in the bottom right corner. The background is plain, and dark but for a glowing light behind Saint Catherine's head.
