Studies of the apostle Saint Simon and heads. On the right is a large study of a near-standing, bearded, robed saint with an outsretched right arm. He turns his head to his right and places his left hand on the handle of a small two man? saw. In the lower left corner is a bearded, male head and a female head conversing. In the upper left is a study of a pointing left hand and an outline drawing of two heads, one of the latter drawn in pencil. Drawn in pen and ink with wash and white highlights for tone. Paper slightly torn upper left corner. Some minor paint loss
