This is the only capital to survive from an angle of the cloister at Reading Abbey. It consists of three cushion capitals arranged in an L-shape carved from a single block of stone. The central capital faced the corner of the cloister walk and on its central angle is a half-length human figure, now badly worn, inside an oval formed from two curving fluted leaves. To the sides of this is a symmetrical arrangement of foliage stems, also badly worn.
