A tall circular column with a stiff-leafed capital and gilded flambeau urn finial. It is raised on a square pedestal on a stepped base with stucco relief on the west face, an inscription panel to the south, and ram's head on corners. The work was originally sited in Queensberry Square and re-erected in 1934 under the guidance of Alexander Crombie. It was moved back to Queensberry Square in 1990.
