A memorial direction post with drinking fountain for Charles Henry Hooper. It is a limestone post on a red sandstone base with a cast iron arms. It is designed in the form of a churchyard cross with a gabled head surmounted by a crown and three direction cast iron arms fitted to head indicate 'GLOUCESTER/BRISTOL' and 'STONEHOUSE/STROUD' and 'FROCESTER/BATH’. Each has a scrolled underside bracket and end. The octagonal post has a moulded square base with a recessed inscription panel to three faces: 'VICTORIA/DG REG/1837', 'VICTORIA/DG REG/1897' and 'MEMORIAL/ANNO LX'. The small drinking fountain, now eroded, occupies a recess on the fourth side with a shell hood. It was erected to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee
