An oval three-stage fountain. There is a large lower basin (now given over to flower beds) and drinking bowls. The colonnaded drum has an inscribed frieze. There is a smaller drum above with a canopied oval cone supporting single columns capped by griffins and further capped by a crown. Water formerly spouted from the top and from gargoyles' mouths. It is a typical Victorian amalgam of forms and conceits.
