A Victorian water fountain to mark and commemorate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee in 1887. The fountain is a rectangular form with columns at each corner, and is topped by a cupola. Each face has an indented arch and basin with a pediment above, in which is an elegant incised design. The site for St Paul's Recreation Ground was purchased on 28 May 1888 by Brentford Local Board with money that had been raised to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1887; due to delays it was not opened until 1889.
