Professor Adrian Harold Redfern Rowe, known as 'Jack', obtained a BDS from Guy's in 1948. Rowe served as Vice-Dean of the Dental Faculty and Dean of Guy’s Dental School from 1985–1991. He was a pioneer in the area of endodontology. He was awarded the Colyer Gold Medal in 1993 in recognition of his contribution to dentistry. He was a founder member and past-President of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry. He is depicted wearing the Gown of Honorary Fellow of United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospitals.
