A life-size bronze of Pocahontas depicted in native American dress, walking with head high and arms open. She is depicted with long hair and a headband with an upright feather at the back. The sculpture was cast from the 1922 original, and was given to the British people in 1957 by the Governor of Virginia, to commemorate the 350th anniversary of her death. The base is a granite plinth with an inset panel near the top with carved crossed spears on a bed of leaves and an inscription. Her name is inscribed lower down.
