Head and shoulders portrait of a young boy, gazing out. He is wearing a green doublet and lace shirt. There are trees in the background. From the boy’s clothing and hairstyle, this painting can be dated to the late eighteenth century. This means that the boy is probably a son of George Cary III and his first wife, Cecilia Fagnani.
