One of three life-sized standing figures sculptures in different stances. The three figures represent three levels of human activity: thought, speech and action. This figure’s left hand is raised up to the forehead. It was the first work in which Gormley made casts of his own body. The work was originally sited at Monkstone House Offices (now Greenwoods Solicitors) and was later moved to Thorpe Meadows in 1988.
