Pius II arrives at Ancona; Pope Pius II is carried on a throne by four men, a Bishop? and a man kneel at his feet, a boy holds a mitre, a group of figures, wearing Renaissance costume, and a moustached man, wearing a turban, surround the Pope; middleground, a cypress tree, two birds in flight, an armoured rowing ship docks at a quayside, a castellated townwall with turrets and figures with a dog emerge from a gateway; background, rowing ships at sea and the town of Ancona with houses, a dome and a church on a hill. Engraved with fine lines. Surrounding trompe-l\'oeil effect of an arch has been omitted. Latin inscription
