Describing the work, Paul Grime writes: ‘I think this was a limited competition for a gateway sculpture for Dundee. Jeremy and myself produced a sketch maquette and were given the go ahead. It is open to interpretation of course, but for me it is about exploration – going from one element to another. The skeletal boat contains item for light, navigation and sound making.’
