This dramatic sculpture is formed of four parallel plates, vertical and curved, the largest is approximately 24 metres wide. The plates undulate and represent successive ranges of the Lake District mountains, some of which are named. The sculpture resembles a large stage set but the stage backcloth is the actual Lake District mountains, wedged between the expanses of Morecambe Bay and the sky.
