Five carved stone spheres embedded in drystane dykes. The work was initially planned in 2008 but delayed by the recession and only finally completed in 2014. The works were inspired by the idea that the site had once been farmland; the artist linked the idea of farmers tending crops to the new residents looking after their homes. The five spheres were inspired by collecting memories (basket weave), keeping the good things (riddling), binding together (string), putting down roots, and planting seeds.
