Painting of a heron on the River Dee at Llangollen, Wales. The artist is probably William Mellor (1848–1931) who receives a brief mention in Grant M. Waters' 'Dictionary of British Artists Working 1900–1950' as a landscape painter in oil. He painted in the Lake District, and North Wales and the Pennines.
