Inscription description
on plaque: Olliver Reginald Kaizana Tambo / O. R. and Adelaide Tambo, along with their children were frequent visitors to this park / whilst living in exile from South Africa during the aparthied era. Their lifelong fight to rid / South Africa of deeply unjust racial disparities continues to inspire today. / On Friday 19 March 2–21 the recreation ground was renamed in O. R. Tambo's honour / this plaque was unveiled by / Cllr Joseph Ejiofar, Haringey Council Leader and Cllr Adam Jogee, mayor of Haringey.
