Oliver F. Bailey, BSc, MIEE, was appointed acting Principal of the Northampton College of Technology in 1941 following John Blakeman’s retirement, and was confirmed as Principal after the war in 1946. This portrait, presented on the occasion of his retirement in 1955, was painted by a former student of the Northampton School of Art.
