View across a Norfolk smallholding, towards broad flat plains in the distance, featuring a pathway in the foreground to the left with a small shed built on a slope to the right, with more farm buildings to the left partially obscured by a pair of tall bent trees at the side of the path. The artist had depicted the landscape using planes of relatively flat colour, communicating a fairly flat image to the viewer.
