As a talented artist, she exhibited twice at the Royal Academy with her sculpture and her drawings. She was also a writer, editor and translator, publishing works from 1900 to her death half a century later. She also published an account of the travels of her grandmother and mother, who travelled widely during the Victorian period to America, Spain, Greece and the Middle East.
