An oil painting on canvas, 'Mount Grace Priory' by Dorothea ('Vesla') Valen-Sendstad (Mrs Haakon Natvig), signed and dated bottom right: 'VESLA NATVIG, 1960'. The artist was the daughter of the Norwegian landscape artist Axel Sendstad (1872–1922) and Magnhild Valen (1880–1959). The artist married the scientist Haakon Natvig (1905–2003).
