Waterside / riverside? scene of a crowd of figures coming down a street to the water in the foreground to worship. A few shade / screen parasols are angled to block out the rising sun whilst other robed figures sit and stand in the foreground with their eyes closed. The figure on the right of the front platform holds a bowl of water high and tips it into the sea? / river? she? sits before. To the right a group of figures stand in the water bathing. Detailed fine line etching.
