A figure of Hugh, the 3rd Duke of Northumberland, dressed in the robes of the Order of the Garter, on a tapered square pedestal on corniced plinth with sloped coping. Begun by C. Tate and completed by R. G. Davies. The Duke of Northumberland donated the ground upon which the Master Mariners' retirement homes were built.
