Monsignor Charles McGregor was painted by local artist Ian Fleming. Oral tradition suggests that he was never fond of the painting and kept it hidden at the back of a wardrobe. Upon his death the painting came to Blairs College, although it remains the property of the Diocese of Aberdeen.
