A half-length portrait of a woman facing front, with the head inclined slightly to the left. The dark hair is dressed in curls falling onto the side of the head. She wears a white underdress with short, puffed sleeves, over which is a cream dress of a chiffon-type material, with a low lace collar and long, full sleeves. Over the dress is a pink sash, and she wears a long gold neck-chain which is fastened to the sash with a gold clasp.
