Distinctive Market Cross, (a replica of former fifteenth and seventeenth century structures). It has a large octagonal drum platform and narrow octagonal shaft, with ionic columns at its corners. The shaft is surmounted by a unicorn finial. The round arches on each face of the platform have been key-blocked and there are painted heraldic panels on the parapet faces. There is a carved inscription above the timber door which opens to an internal stair leading to the platform.
