A two-thirds–size cast of a Carrara marble sculpture depicting the artist and her partner Deborah Kass. The original is installed on their burial plot in Woodlawn Cemetery, New York. The sculpture is the first and only Marriage Equality Monument in the world. In many countries homosexuality is illegal, and in some it is punishable by death. Through her work the artist raises awareness of this as a human rights issue.
