An edible fruit native to south-eastern Asia. It is highly valued for its juicy, delicate texture and has been cultivated in Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, Mainland Southeast Asia, and the Philippines for centuries. The mangosteen is sometimes called the ‘Queen of Fruit’.
