The work is by Jonathan Ogilvie, who worked as team leader of the Angus Council Design team, Signal Tower Museum, Arbroath. The painting is a side view through a mirror of a female nude, reclining on a canvas covered leather chaise longue. Her hair is dark brown and is tied up and she wears a ribbon choker round her neck. She is wearing a pair of brown sandals. This is the artist's interpretation of Manet's 'Olympia' painting, in which a nude woman is seen lying on a bed, wearing a choker.
