Part of the Dr J. W. A. Hunter bequest to the University of Aberdeen (for the founding of medical scholarships) in January 1960. Part of the same bequest are also two paintings ('Nirvana' by Augustus John, 'The Girl in the Panama Hat' by Wilson Steer) and two sculptures ('Lydia Laughing' and 'Vaughan Williams' by Jacob Epstein).
