This image was used during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century by Bolton brewery Magee Marshall on all their marketing material. This work appears to be a version of a painting by James Hayllar called 'Lunchtime'. It is obviously the basis of a well-known promotional image used by Bolton brewers Magee Marshall.
