Illustration of a group of figures being blown over by sea winds as they walk along a pier / promenade on the seafront / coast. Right; a couple / man and woman walk into the wind, side on, her dress blows and he, hat tied down with a scarf and pipe in mouth, holds her by the waist, and pulls a girl behind him. Behind them in the foreground a dog has been swept of its feet and in the background another couple stand by the railing, looking out to birds flying over the sea. Centrally a man, seen from behind, holds onto the dogs lead as he talks to a woman, side on, hair blown sideways. A man behind holds his hat down, walking stick in hand and shouts. Left; two men stand observing the others, one seen from behind, legs straddled and the other side on, pipe in mouth.
