A small bronze sculpture of a lion eating a person made by the Fon people of Benin. There are a pair of human legs dangling from its mouth. The lion is engraved with markings which resemble a lion's mane, with stripes on its ribs and rough fur on its torso and legs. It stands with all four legs on the ground and has prominent eyes, and a long tail that curves over its back. One of two African brass sculptures in the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum collection.
