‘Life as a Circus’ comprises two replica sculptures, ‘Four Man Up’ and ‘Equestrian Act’, that were originally commissioned by Blackpool Council and presented as part of The Great Promenade Show. ‘Four Man Up’ features four circus performers standing on top of each other. ‘Equestrian Act’ features a tower of four figures holding shapes, all balancing on a horse. The original sculptures were removed following the theft of the bonze figures and shapes in August 2011.
