In the centre middle ground is a two-wheeled cart drawn by two horses. In the cart are a woman holding a baby, and some men, one of whom is dressed in a white coat or smock, holding a riding whip. The cart leads off towards a cottage on the left side. On the right are large trees, and in the distance is a wooded hillside.
